The main backpack is big enough I haven't had a situation where I needed this cargo pouch yet. It attaches quite securely - took me a couple of minutes to both attach and detach, though I imagine the process could get quite quick once you got used to how the clips work. The zippered pouch is smaller than I expected, but the open middle bit expands a lot, which could be useful for large, bulky items.
I initially thought I would leave it attached, but it does add a lot of visual clutter and straps to the sleek look of the bag, so now I keep it inside the main compartment of the bag, kind of like a packing cube that can be attached to the outside if I suddenly need more space.

Zipper is PU coated for extra water durability & can hold all sorts of miscellaneous daily carry items. If there were slots or compartments for organization within the zipper pouch, that would've been mega. Main use case for this attachment is the ability to loosen the 2 upper clips from its back panel to stuff something bulky (like a puffer jacket) between the layers & tighten the clips right back up so your item stays secure. Super handy when your bag is already packed out & need some extra space. Just clip this on & voila, the bag now has increased carrying capacity. I can see myself attaching a plastic bag between the cargo pouch & back panel to carry dirty shoes/clothes. It's an ingenious design that will certainly be useful in times of need.

I took and chance, hoping that it fits my current favorite backpack, the Bellroy Venture Travel Pack 26L. Guess what, it does! Having this additional storage is perfect for dirty clothes or shoes!

It stores things well and looks nice on the backpack, and I use it to hold larger cables and charging gear. I noticed that the flap kind of flops forward when things are inside (which could be remedied with tighter straps but after tightening to the maximum it still flops). It's also a struggle to attach onto the bag itself, looking onto the front, the bottom left clip is the hardest to put in for some reason. It's a bit pricey for the utility that it gives.

Have just purchased the Rushfaster 36 litre Travel pack and added the cargo pouch as an accessory, it came in very handy when I decided to chuck in an extra jacket for my three day trip to Sydney. Rolls up and tucks away neatly in one of the side pockets of the travel pack when not needed. Great bit of kit
