Rushfaster EDC Pro Backpack

Sale price$183.00 USD
Colour: Sand

Built for creatives, developers and founders building the future, who need more organisation in their daily carry without extra weight. This is our most popular EDC backpack — 26L of considered space at just 1.1kg, with a dedicated deep-work section for the tools that power focused work - your laptop or tablet, a quick-thinking organisation section for meeting notes, two external water bottle pockets that disappear when empty, and a hidden security pocket behind the back panel. Every feature earns its place — you'll find you use most of what's included.

#Colour_SandDescription

This backpack is also available as a bundle system.

More organisation usually comes with a tax — more weight, more straps hanging off the outside, a bag that tries too hard to look capable. The EDC Pro Backpack doesn't pay it.

Everything here earns its place. A dedicated main compartment houses your laptop (up to 16", like the 16" MacBook Pro) or an iPad/tablet with Apple Pencil for deep work, kept separate from a "quick-thinking" organisation section built for meeting notes and the small tools you reach for mid-task. A hidden pocket behind the back panel adds a layer of security for anything you'd rather keep close, and external water bottle pockets that disappear when empty keep the exterior clean the rest of the time. Add an internal key holder and a hidden AirTag slot, and it's a system, not a pile of pockets.

At 1.1 kilograms (2.4lbs), it's genuinely lightweight for 26 litres of considered carry space. You feel it in the memory foam straps that adapt to your shoulders, the moveable sternum strap, the breathable mesh back panel that doesn't turn into a heat trap, and the way the bag stands on its own when packed instead of slumping over. Need to carry more? The Rushfaster Cargo Pouch mods on when you need it and comes off when you don't. Use our Cargo Pouch mod to carry a helmet, jacket, skateboard, or add an additional front pocket.

Built from weatherproof Bluesign-approved 420D Cordura with a PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish, AquaGuard YKK zippers, and Hypalon attachment points — this is quality backed by a 3-year warranty.

We haven't gone overboard here — this isn't over-engineered, it's simply a bigger set of essentials for people who need more organisation, and you'll find yourself using most of what's packed in. It's the goldilocks pick for daily carry to work or university. But, if this is more than you need, our Rushfaster EDC Backpack keeps things lighter still at 770g (27oz), for those who keep their carry minimal by choice.

Works well with the following products:
Rushfaster Cargo Pouch
Rushfaster Laptop Sleeves
Rushfaster Tech Pouch

Great backpack!

The Rushfaster EDC Pro Backpack is a really good everyday option for just about any use. I intend to use it as my carry on tavel bag as well.
Great features, pockets and space; excellent quality material and zippers; thoughtfully pieced together.

My only suggestion is for the next version of the bag to have a clamshell opening main compartment.

Still, it works really well and I'm a happy customer!

Scott

Hi Scott, thanks so much for the feedback! Glad to hear that the EDC Pro is meeting your needs for both daily carry and travel. We really appreciate your suggestion, We’re always looking for ways to improve our designs, and your input is invaluable. We’re glad you're a happy customer!

Compact and well thought out

The bag was both smaller and heavier than I had imagined, but it's quickly become my go-to bag for most EDC situations. It carries more than I expected, and has a good mix of organisation and large space. I think the weight comes from the back panel being quite stiff, but this ended up being a good compromise: it helps keeps the bag's shape and organisation without needing the entire bag to have a rigid structure.

The external bottle pockets are quite spacious, and don't protrude when empty. After using this bag, I see why the smaller cousin doesn't have external bottle pockets - it's surprisingly usable, and makes the bag quite sleek when there's no bottles on the outside.

Thank you so much for your positive review. We’re glad the Rushfaster EDC Pro Backpack is working well for your everyday carry and that you’re finding the organisation and design practical. Appreciate your support!

It was love at first sight

This bag looks more compact than a 26L, but certainly can hold the stated capacity. It isn't a fully structured bag, which I love because when you're packing less, it can compress on itself to make it look smaller, but doesn't look huge even when it's packed out.

Front admin pocket is decent & can house plenty of my daily carry trinkets. The side water bottle pockets are great. They fit a 950ml vacuum insulated water bottle easily. Love that there are inner side pockets for organization in the main compartment, although a water bottle on the outside does compete for this space. Tracker slot is also tall enough to fit a Samsung SmartTag2 perfectly.

The back panel side zipper pocket is big enough to house the Alpaka Zip Travel Wallet comfortably. Perfect for quick access during travel. Straps are more than comfortable for me, & the back panel is very well ventilated. I do wish there was a small side handle or lash point to facilitate using the vertical luggage strap. That would have added extra functionality for hanging stuff on it with a carabiner.

I was very excited to use the Hypalon security tabs for the zippers, but they are rather finicky in real world use especially for the main compartment when you've put both zippers through the tab. Though I suppose it would very well serve its intended purpose in deterring pickpockets.

Absolutely love the colour I got. It's a dark subtle green which glows into a brighter sheen when light reflects off it. Considering this bag's rated capacity & its weight of just 1.1kg, it is a winner in my books. I look forward to many happy travels with this gem!

Hi Kong! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It’s great to hear the bag’s capacity, comfort, and design features are making it a winner for you. We hope it continues to be your trusty travel companion! :)

Just what I need

I absolutely adore this backpack! I've been on the lookout for a reliable EDC that can comfortably hold all my essentials, and I’m happy to say I found one with just the right number of pockets and enough space to fit my laptop, notepad, umbrella, tumbler, and tech pouch. It’s been a great find!

We're so glad to hear you're loving the EDC Pro, and that it's fitting seamlessly into your daily carry! Thanks for the great feedback. Cheers!

What I expected

I'm a fan of the materials used and the common gripes that some other people had didn't really faze me. Mostly. The main thing is that it flops over if not full (expected) but there was also a strange crease in the front zipper that looked quite bad. Anyway, it's comfortable and stores the things that I need. I will hope to use it for years.

Thanks for the honest and thoughtful review! We’re glad you’re enjoying the materials, comfort, and storage of the EDC Pro, and we hope it serves you well for many years to come.

excellent every day commuters backpack

it has all the organization I'd ever need, eliminating the need for an additional tech pouch. The material and crafting feels very robust and sturdy, the back panel feels stable and comfortable, the internal pockets are many and well thought through

the only two points of critique I have are that the straps could be a bit more padded and the false bottom of the laptop compartment could be a bit more pronounced; it feels like it's just the seam that acts as a buffer

Hi Philip, thank you so much for your detailed feedback on the EDC Pro Backpack! We appreciate your constructive notes regarding the strap padding and the laptop compartment design. This is exactly the type of insight our design team uses to improve future iterations. Thanks for choosing Rushfaster!

A good backpack

I've had this backpack for a few weeks and I really like it.

It is well organised and fits me well.

It's lightweight but I did wish it would stand up with less items in it.

For me the hidden wallet pocket is on the wrong side, but that's just a me issue as I like it hanging on my right shouler.

Overall I think at full price it’s a bit expensive, but I got it on sale from the outlet store and at that price it is excellent value.

Hi Jayden, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback on the EDC Pro Backpack. Thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the organisation and fit. Your insights help us continue to improve. Enjoy your new pack! Cheers 🙌

EDC Pro Backpack

Serves it's purpose as a moderate-sized daypack. Plenty of internal and external compartments of various sizes. I've only used it for taking laptop and lunch to work so far, so can't comment on comfort when carrying for any extended period.
One external attachment loop did come away with gentle tugging. I hope that's not an indication of overall durability.

We’re glad to hear the size and compartment layout are working well for your day-to-day use. We’re sorry to hear about the external attachment loop coming away, this is not the experience we expect from our product, we’ll make sure this is passed on to our team for review. Please feel free to email us or start a chat if you experience any functionality issues in future so we can assist you with a warranty claim. Thanks for your feedback.

Perfect size. Just that little bit of extra room that you might need over a 20L bag. Multiple organisation options with plenty of useful pockets. Only slight downside is the buckle on the shoulder straps rubs against my arms when wearing something sleeveless.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad the EDC Pro Backpack is giving you the extra space and organisation you need. Noted on the shoulder strap buckle, appreciate you sharing that detail. It will be forwarded to our design team for improvement. Appreciate the support!

A great all-rounder!

It's a do-it-all bag. Personally, the bag had ample pockets to fit and group miscellaneous items that I carry day-to-day. I like that the bag is lightweight to just carry a small amount, yet has the capacity to pack for a weekender. It's a nice, simple, minimalist-looking bag that carries all your essentials. The cargo patch is a nice addition to the ecosystem if you need to carry other things, without a need for another bag (I carry my running shoes in it).

Things to note: You do lose out on its ability to self-stand, as it requires a somewhat full bag to be self-standing. However, if you're willing to compromise on it, it really isn't a big issue. The false bottom for the laptop is pretty close to the ground, so I would still be careful throwing it around.

Other than that, highly recommend this bag!

Hey Patrick, we really appreciate you sharing such thoughtful feedback! 🙌 Great to hear the EDC Pro Backpack fits your day-to-day needs while still having weekender capacity. Thanks for pointing out the details, too. Super helpful for other customers.

GREAT EDC, BAD PADDING

Love the Rushfaster for everything except two things.
For its weight, I expected it to self stand.
But it’s so floppy

Second, the padding is super uncomfortable on the bag. It’s like a rock.

I returned it.

Hey Evan, thanks so much for sharing your feedback! Totally understand your thoughts on the padding and structure. Just to share, the EDC Pro is technically a $350 backpack, and the materials and components used are all best in class. We really appreciate you giving it a try and taking the time to let us know your experience. :)

Back pack wizardry

Received the back pack and could not believe how good the quality is, I will be roadtesting it on a trip to Spain very soon. So many useful pockets and a sturdy construction should make this a great travel/work/recreation all rounder, nice deep waterbottle holder and strong zips, on top of that it looks great!

Thanks so much for your feedback! We’re glad you’re loving the backpack!

Comfortable and slick with sufficient organization

I'm very picky when it comes to backpacks, it's all about fit, form, and function for me. And wow, this bag delivers on all fronts!
I got it along with the cargo pouch, and honestly, it doesn't get any better than this combo!

Thanks so much for the great feedback! Glad to hear the EDC Pro and Cargo Pouch are working well for you.

Great EDC backpack for the moolah

Little room for improvement here. This is a well built, high quality backpack with more pockets and compartments than you'd ever need.

A lot of laptop backpacks I've bought have sacrificed the general space in exchange for pockets, but this packpack does both. Tons of pockets for all my little EDC things as well as a large general area to chuck in shopping or a rolled up jumper.

Comparitively I think this is a pretty competitive price for what you get as well.

Thanks for the great feedback! We're glad you're enjoying the EDC Pro Backpack and finding it both spacious and well-designed. Enjoy your new gear!

Great all rounder!

Excellent backpack. Use it for work everyday. Heaps of pockets!

Heaps of pockets = heaps of happiness. Thanks, Thomas 🙏

Nice EDC bag!!!

Light, heaps of space, pockets and slots. Only downside is that you either really need to pack it out or load the bottom part of the bag to get it to stand on it's own.

Thanks so much for the great feedback! We're glad to hear you're enjoying the space and organisation of the EDC Pro Backpack. Noted on the balance issue — it's a helpful insight, and we appreciate you sharing it! Let us know if you ever need anything else.

Perfect EDC & weekender

Excellent bag, nice a lightweight but with the right amount of organisation. Good size for an EDC to carry, an extra layer, water bottle, packed lunch & all your essentials, plus big enough to use as an overnight or weekender.

A true multitasker! EDC or weekender, it’s ready for whatever you throw at it 😉

Likeable bag

Perfect for my daily needs, though I've never packed it full to be honest. Has good features and looks. And the price is great when compared to other brands with the same purpose and design.

Wow! Thanks, Hector! We agree, great value and style really do make the perfect combo
